DescriptionSummary:Patient Placement Coordinators are the central point persons for facilitating processes on a daily basis to expedite patient movement between departments and facilities for bed availability and utilization of such among multi-disciplinary levels to ensure the prompt facilitation of resources available for patient placement. Work collaboratively with Case Managers, Nurse Managers, Charge and Resource Nurses, Emergency Department Staff/Physicians, Hospitalists/Physician Extenders, Patient Registration, Patient Transport, and Environmental Services.
