Children’s Mercy is home to the region’s only Level I pediatric trauma center. Our main ED features 38 beds, including specialized trauma, a crisis center, orthopedic, and major medical rooms. With a team of over 150 nurses and techs, 40 APRNs, and 40+ physicians, we care for more than 65,000 patients annually.
